Top 3 in Season 5 of America's Best Dance Crew

MTV's "Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew" is hotter than ever. Soon to start Season 6, it's hard not to get swept into the groove of the music and dance. ABDC airs on MTV.

I fell in love with ABDC in Season 1. My daughter was captivated by the Jabbowockeez and urged me to watch an episode with her. There has been no turning back for either of us. We look forward to the time we spend together watching each episode. She and I even attended the Live Show tour between Season 2 and 3. We were able to see the Jabbowockeez perform live, along with Season 2 Winners Super Crew.

Each season seems to out-do the last. For a run down of the winners of each season:

Season 5 started off with the judges visiting different areas around the country looking for the best talent. Auditions were held in the South, East and West Coast that resulted in five crews being chosen from each area to head to the finals.

Poreotix has been my favorite from their introduction in week 3 when they performed a dance routine to Taylor Swift's "Love Story". Anyone who recalls the Kanye West incident will appreciate this routine.

These young gentlemen are entertainers. They have a good instinct about what people like to see and they know how to deliver it consistently week after week. Check out a few of their episodes below.

Blueprint Cru is a Canadian dance crew from Montreal and have struggled throughout the competition. Some argue that a Canadian crew can't be America's best. Canadian residents cannot vote in the competition and that makes it more difficult for them to get the votes needed to stay at the top. In spite of these obstacles they have made it to the top 3.

Hype 5-0 is the first crew from Hawaii on the show.

Hype 5-0 has been eliminated in the Hip-Hop Nation Challenge and it's now down to the final two crews. Season 5's America's Best Dance Crew will be either Poreotix or Blueprint Cru. My personal favorite is Poreotix.
