77Reasons Why Men in Uniform Are So Attractive to Women
Women find men in uniform virtually irresistible. Why is that? Have you ever stopped to ask yourself why? What is it about a sharp-dressed man that makes a grown woman weak in the knees? Why does an otherwise articulate woman suddenly feel she has a mouth full of marbles and can only seem to utter a schoolgirl giggle.
There are a number of reasons that men in uniform are sexy. I'm going to go over the top reasons.
- Men in uniform appear responsible. Someone wearing a uniform has a responsibility to their position, to their country, or their team. Women like knowing a man is responsible. She assumes that responsibility may spill over into other areas.
- Men in uniform appear to be committed. Commitment is something men often shy away from, but a man in uniform at least shows he can commit to something. That's always a good start, right ladies? He's committed to his profession. He's committed to his sport. He's committed to his country. He's committed to his buddies. Will be as committed to you?
- Men in uniform appear clean and tidy. Let's face it, men can be slouchy and untidy. A man in uniform is crisp and clean, at least initially. A little bit of hard-earned dirt and grime can be pretty sexy too. But who keeps him starched, clean and tidy? Will it be you?
- Men in uniform wear fitted clothing in good condition. Uniforms are rarely, if ever, in the wrong size or in need of repair. They would have to work really hard at looking slouchy in fitted clothing.
- Men in uniform exude confidence. Men in uniform tend to stand taller and speak clearer. Women love a confident man. Men know it too, ladies.
- Men in uniform represent authority. Men in uniform tend to command respect just by the authority they seem to represent. They then act accordingly. It is extremely rare for a man in uniform to act out of character. He knows he's being watched.
In Conclusion
When it's all said and done, does the reason matter? Is it necessary to have a reason?
It's been my observation that more women are comfortable looking, and drooling, without fear of what someone may think of them. I think that's a very good thing. I'm quite sure the men don't mind either.

I have gone a couple of times for the construction worker. I never imagined I would go for that but once I saw him during a summer afternoon working outside my window, tight jeans, no top and his muscular body shining with sweat... I had to have him and I was not dissapointed. I have repeated the experience with other men on the same line of work since them and all I can say is WOW... thumbs up!

oh, the Fireman! We smelled smoke on Halloween at the hospital where I work, had to call the fire dept, no fire, but watching the firemen tromp through our unit was the highlight of the evening!

Being Veterans Day, I must pose the question to update the poll to separate out Navy, Marines, Coast Guard. I too, have a special fondness for Navy. But all play such an important role - fire and police too! Great article - and fun video! Her high voice made me smile!
Although I highly respect and salute our servicemen (all branches, and worldwide), I don't find them the most attractive in the uniform department. I'm glad you enjoyed the hub, Kelly!
Gotta love men in uniform! I married a Marine so that would have to be my favorite uniform but I also have a brother in law in the Navy, a dad who was once an Amy man and a grandfather who served the Royal Navy.

You're so right KCCC, there definitely is something about a man in uniform. I'm particularily inclined to the navy uniform since being from Canada I don't see it very often (our navy is really small and I'm land locked) but was fortunate enough to live in Annapolis Maryland - home to the Naval Academy. I'd go out just to see the men in their uniform.

I chose other. Well from the list I like the fireman best but there's this certain EMT from a certain tv show that won me over.
EMTs can be hot too, Skye! I had a friend who thought an EMT was hot. Once I saw him, I had to agree. She used to fantasize about having an accident and hoped he'd come "rescue" her. LOL
Actually, many Asian countries have really sexy uniforms - like police uniforms in Thailand for example!

I loved your hub, the Americans have such really great uniforms. My husband was in the Navy so I am a little bias towards men in uniform lol.
