What is it that we find so appealing about rock hard abs? I know there are some women who do not care for them. They prefer their men to be a bit softer and easier to cuddle. Some prefer there men to have a bit more chest hair than the hard bodies seem to have.

I don't love a six pack. I like nice arms and back, but no six. Unless it's beer, and then he can leave it with me and go find his own. A fairly toned gut with just the right amount of pudge is perfect for me...

Well, As one of those guys with a six pack abs, I do never really thought of it as something a woman wants but I care to think the confidence that it gives you is awesome. I do believe that a six pack is genetic and as an athlete all my life, my abs were crucial in performance. At 37, I feel my abs are stronger than ever. I think personality is much greater to a woman than a six pack in the end.
I do agree that personaiity is critical because a guy can look fantastic, but if he's got the personality of a rock, he won't be fun to be around. I think what abs give guys is pretty much the same thing that nice breasts give women. They're "door-openers". They're a feature that gets noticed that allows you that extra time to present your other assets, whether it's personality, charm, charisma, etc.
Congrats on having the type of abs millions of guys only dream of having and thanks for stopping by and giving us another perspective.

I also agree that the personality of a person should count the most. But in terms of attracting a woman from a distance, they usually look at the physical side, then the personality. The physical side is only a part of it. Usually if women don't like the guy's attitude, goodbye to that guy.
Well if you want a great six pack ab, you should look to your kitchen. all you need is the right food.
Food that contain high protein, Vitamin B and C.

Ripley, six pack abs certainly can't hurt your chances to have all of those things, but I wouldn't rely on it to magically give you all of those things. I think your attitude determines many of those. Sometimes that attitude comes with the abs and sometimes it doesn't. I think you can have all of those things without the abs.
Blegh, bulging muscles. Six-packs more than a slight toning don't please me much, I'm disappointed by media's ongoing assumption that a sexy man needs to be ripped -_- I much prefer a smooth, slim stomach, skinny guys are my thing. Broad shoulders, slim hips and stomach, ooh yeaah!
